Projection Mapping
Silver Dragon Cafe
March 28, 2019

This rotoscope animation was created to be mapped as a projection onto the sign recovered from Montreal's Silver Dragon Cafe, as part of the Montreal Signs Project. It explores themes of the seasonal hardships Montreal presents, loss and renewal of multi-generational culture, and the often cyclical nature of change. It is best experienced as a loop.

Animation by Ana Bilokin, Jocabell Cabral, and Piper Curtis. Mapping by Bilokin and Cabral. Sound design by Curtis.

This work was created for the Projection Mapping project in COMS 374 Intermedia II at Concordia University.
